"Bildstoerung" For the next 16 months the Brandenburger Tor is given a "bildstoerung". The foundation "Stiftung Denkmalschutz Berlin" - founded by my wife and me - will carry out the urgently necessary renovation of the probably most important german edifice. Therefore it is necessary to put scaffolding around the gate and to integrate the complete construction logistics invisibly inside the gate. On the outside a photorealistic tarpaulin which shows the Brandenburger Tor will be put on the scaffolding. From the Paris Square one can see through the pillars the "Eiffeltower"
and the "Arch of Triumph", from the victory column one has a view of the "Red

Das Brandenburger Tor erhält für die kommenden 16 Monate eine "Bildstörung". Die von meiner Frau und mir gegründete "Stiftung Denkmalschutz Berlin" wird die dringend notwendige Sanierung des wohl bedeutendsten deutschen Bauwerks durchführen. Dazu ist es notwendig, das Tor einzurüsten und die gesamte Baulogistik unsichtbar in das Tor zu integrieren. Außenseitig wird die Rüstung mit einer fotorealistischen Plane, auf der das Brandenburger Tor dargestellt ist, versehen (s. Anlage). Vom Pariser Platz aus kann man durch die Stützen auf den "Eifelturm" sowie den "Arc de Triomphe", von der Siegessäule auf den "Roten Platz" in Moskau sehen. Sehr geehrter
